Artist Statement:

Richard uses abstract shapes to create geometric and organic sculptures. His creations are inspired by rock formations, motions of water, aquatic habitats, astronomical patterns and cycles of life through the various techniques of metal smithing, fabrication, and neon. They illuminate an entire space in luscious lights and shadows, bathing and embracing the viewer.
